Web 2.0

The definition of "Web 2.0" refers to the second generation of web development and web design that facilitates information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design.  The advent of Web 2.0 led to the development and evolution of web-based communities, hosted services, and web applications.

As with other Web 2.0 sites, Cranium CoRE allows users to do more than just retrieve information. Members can build on the interactive facilities of "Web 1.0" to provide "Network as platform" computing, allowing users to run our software application entirely through a modern web browser and interacting using an iOS or Android device. Members participating in our community of thinkers drives the collaboration and joy of use.

Cranium CoRE uses an "Architecture of participation" that encourages members to add value to our application as they use it. This stands in contrast to traditional websites, the sort that limited visitors to viewing and whose content only the site's owner could modify. Our Web 2.0 site offers a feature a rich, user-friendly interface and a state of the art framework javascript framework called jQuery for our ajax interactions.
